A framework for practical hypnosis

Hypnosis is not a trick. It is a way of working with attention, state, story, and change.

8D Hypnosis is Erika Flint's multidimensional model for understanding what happens when the thinking mind gets quiet and a person can access deeper, more useful inner resources.

The simple front door

Attention. Intention. Discernment.

Attention

Where the mind is pointed, how quickly it moves, and whether it can settle into a more spacious state.

Intention

The direction of change: what the person actually wants to move toward, not only what they want to escape.

Discernment

The wise inner sorting process that notices what matters, what is noise, and what next step fits.

Why it matters

A real framework makes hypnosis easier to teach, practice, and trust.

The first public version of this site is a map, not the whole manual. It gives people language for what hypnosis can do while preserving advanced practitioner material for appropriate training spaces.

This is where the theory can become visible enough to support articles, recordings, scripts, classes, and future practitioner education.
